Are you a madrich/ah for SCHS or your congregational Sunday school? If so, you may be eligible for a stipend for your work with our community’s youngest members from Rabbi Evan Shore School for Jewish Teens.
Student to Student.
Beginning in the 5787/2026–2027 school year, we will launch Student to Student, a national educational initiative that prepares Jewish high school students to share their personal Jewish experiences with non-Jewish peers.
Students will receive specialized training to tell their own stories, answer thoughtful questions, and foster meaningful conversations that replace stereotypes with authentic relationships. Presentations will take place in classrooms throughout Central New York, helping build understanding at a time when respectful dialogue is more important than ever.
Through Student to Student, our teens will develop confidence as Jewish leaders while making a meaningful impact in schools across our community.
A Teen Taste of Israel.
Would you like to travel to Israel with your friends from Shore School? All students who begin learning at Shore School in 7th or 8th grade are eligible for the Teen Taste of Israel trip which is made possible by the Slutzker Family Foundation, generous donors and a fund at the Jewish Community Foundation of CNY. This heavily endowed trip is a fantastic way to deepen your connection with the Land.
College Visits, Hillel Style.
Juniors and Seniors are eligible to visit regional colleges with the Hillel tour program. Students travel together to at least two colleges each year with vibrant Jewish communities, spend time with Jewish college students, enjoy a campus tour through a Jewish lens, and eat a meal together on campus.
Torah Lishma.
Make lifelong friends. Continue your Jewish education and delve into 3,500 years of Jewish texts. Classes at Shore School are challenging and engaging. Plus, you get to spend time with your friends, and learn from outstanding faculty. New classes for 2026-27!
